Public Transit

The Greater Peoria Mass Transit District and West Peoria continue their many years of partnership for providing public transportation to the citizens of West Peoria. There are two bus routes, #5 Main and #11 Western, which service through West Peoria. Many citizens utilize the #5 Main to get from West Peoria to Westlake Shopping Center. Numerous stops located

on Western and Rohmann give access to popular stops like Haddad’s Market, St. Mary’s Cemetery, and Calvin Coolidge School. The #11 Western provides service to Madison Park Shopping Center, Proctor Center, and Roosevelt Magnet School. West Peoria residents can also utilize this route to attend a Peoria Chiefs baseball game at O’Brien Field.
